New Years Eve Facebook Promotion Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. By entering this competition, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Entry is only open to Australian residents over 18 years of age who reside in New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Queensland.  Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto, child or step-child, parent, step-parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
These terms and conditions will be posted on the Scarborough Wine Co website for the duration of the competition.
Promotion commences at 12.00am Sunday 1st December 2013.  Entries close at 11.59pm AEST on Monday 16th December 2013. (the “Promotional Period”).  No late entries will be eligible.
To enter, individuals must during the Promotional Period must complete their details via the Scarborough Wine Co Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/Scarboroughwine and write in 50 words or less ”Which Iconic Australian would you most like to have dinner with and why?”. The most creative and inspirational answer will win the prize. No one else will win a prize.
Please note this Promotion is no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook and by entering this Promotion you agree:  (a) not to make any claim against Facebook; and (b) to release Facebook from any liability in regard to the Promotion.
Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
Multiple entries are not permitted.  The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
 Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used.
The winners will be announced by a nominated representative of Scarborough Wine Co on Tuesday 17th December 2013 . The draw will take place at 9am at  179 Gillards Rd, Pokolbin, NSW, 2320.   
The best response will receive six tickets to the VIP Viewing area at Dawes Point on New Years Eve 2013(31.12.2013) – a money can’t buy experience.  

All ancillary costs associated with attending the New Years Eve event including but not limited to transport, accommodation, spending money and additional drinks are not included. The 6 x tickets to the New Years Eve event must be redeemed by the winner and five (5) companions 18 years of age and over.

Entry into the New Years Eve event is subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject the winner (and his/ her companions) for any inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst attending the New Years Eve event.

Total prize pool is a money can’t buy experience.
The Promoter may announce further winners at the same place as the original announcement as are necessary on 24/12/2013 at 9.00am in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date.
Winner will be notified by telephone and their name will be posted on the Scarborough Wine Co Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/Scarboroughwine and website www.scarboroughwine.com.au from 18 December 2013. Winner will also be notified via email.
By providing your details (including your telephone number), you agree to receive marketing information about products and services from Scarborough Wine Co until you advise us otherwise by contacting Customer Service on (02) 4998 7563 or in writing to ‘The Customer Service Manager, Scarborough Wine Co. Neither Scarborough Wine Co nor any of its associated companies or personnel will be responsible or liable if for any reason beyond their reasonable control any element of any prize is not provided.
Neither Scarborough Wine Co nor any of its associated companies or personnel are liable or responsible for late, lost or misdirected entries.
Scarborough Wine Co reserves the right to exclude any person from this competition for any reason whatsoever.
In all matters all decisions of Scarborough Wine Co will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entered into.
The Promoter will not be responsible or liable if for any reason beyond their reasonable control any element of the prize is not provided. The Promoter may, subject to state regulations, substitute a different prize or lesser value in place of any prize referred to in these terms and conditions.
Where the prize involves the winners attendance at or tickets to an event, if any part of the event is cancelled, varied or rescheduled for any reason, then at the Promoter’s discretion, the winner and any accompanying guests will forfeit all rights to attend the relevant event and no cash or alternative tickets will be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
The promoter encourages consumers to enjoy responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health and Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol guidelines that are available at www.nhmrc.gov.au
